Here are some BGs I've completed. I've arrived at an art style that I like, but I'm worried that it will take me too long to paint all of them like this. I'm hoping that I'll be able to recycle a lot of BG elements and do color adjustments for different seasons. I'll have to take whatever shortcuts I can.

Duck Boy Officially Time Locked!!!
Here is the time locked cut of Duck Boy:
Duck Boy Time Locked! from Bryan Young on Vimeo.
Excluding any small corrections and cleaning, I'm basically done with all the raw animation! So I guess it's pretty much all post production from here on out. Clean up, coloring, and compositing. Yey for the hundreds of backgrounds I have to paint!!

The Last Shot
So I'm pretty much much finished with all the raw animation now. I was going to post the new cut of the film, but Premiere is being a pain in the butt and keeps crashing my renders, so I'll have to post it later. I'm basically picture locked except for the last shot of the movie. It has to look good since it's the last shot of the film, and my money shot, but I've animated it twice now and something just doesn't seem right about it. I'm posting it in hopes that I can get some suggestions and a notion in the right direction.
Without further ado here is the clip for your viewing enjoyment:

PICTURE LOCKED !! (sort of...)
Here is the most current cut of Duck Boy. It's basically my picture-locked film minus the last 2 scenes since I'm still tinkering around with the animation for those portions. I think by next week I will have the last two scenes completed and cut into this and then ... I'll actually be picture locked for real. Not that any of this really matters to YOU since I can see that approximately ZERO people visit this page besides myself.
Anyways all you imaginary blog followers here's the film clip for your imaginary enjoyment:
Duck Boy PICTURE LOCK (minus the last 2 scenes) from Bryan Young on Vimeo.
If any actual people watch this and have suggestions about my editing/cuts/animation etc., tell me as soon as possible because by this time tomorrow I will have already handed the clip over to my sound designer. If I make any changes I need to give her the most current cut ASAP so that she can adjust the sound track accordingly.
Thanks for watching : P

S'more animation Stuffs
So it's 3:30 am and I decided "Hey, what would be more fun to do at this un-Godly hour than update my blog?"
Here's some more animation from the latest scene. I already showed this stuff in class but for people who haven't seen it, you can comment and let me know how I'm doing.
Once I cut the shots together I realized that I don't like the camera move on the second shot at all. I think I will change that. And yes, I realize that I have to finish fleshing out the last shot, it's mostly just key drawings now.

So any comments, suggestions, complaints, lay 'em on me. Uggg... I need to go to bed... then again I have class in 6 hours so why bother, right? RED BULL CITY HERE I COME!!!!
